She's been building this her entire career.
Long before Padgett Strategic Collaborative had a name, Jauntavia Padgett was doing the work. Building government relations and advocacy teams from scratch. Unlocking the voice behind an organization's influence. Rallying people around a shared agenda and teaching them what it actually means to leverage it. She has done this across industries, across sectors, and across every level of government not because it was assigned to her, but because it's what she's always known how to do.
That pattern didn't start in a boardroom. It started in the United States Army, where Jauntavia served for 12 years, including five as a Drill Sergeant. The military taught her something that no curriculum could — how to build people up under pressure, how to move with discipline and intention, and how to develop leaders who don't fall apart when the environment gets complicated. That's not a metaphor for how she consults. It's literally how she operates.
Leadership, Advocacy, and Community Impact
Her path has taken her through the private sector, federal level advocacy, and deep into the infrastructure of community systems and civic governance. Along the way she has briefed the White House, engaged Capitol Hill, helped pass legislation, and built governance structures that didn't exist before she arrived. She has been recognized as one of 12 Black Leaders to Know in South Carolina, holds a Harvard Business School certificate, and is completing her Master of Public Administration at Clemson University concentrating in Regional Sustainability. She is also the author of a children's book on civic advocacy — because she has always believed this work starts earlier than most people think.

Meet Jauntavia Padgett
She founded Padgett Strategic Collaborative because she kept meeting the same person in every room. Someone doing genuinely important work who had the instinct that engaging government or telling their story strategically was the right move, but had no real picture of what that meant for their whole organization, the scope it required, or the commitment it demanded. That person deserved a partner who could meet them exactly where they were and build with them from there.
Padgett Strategic Collaborative is woman, veteran, and minority-owned, with active WOSB and SDVOSB certifications and SAM.gov registration.
